Educational teaching and play clock "Zeit-Zeiger", 30x30 cm, with quartz movement

This very versatile educational and play clock is designed with removable wooden cubes and teaches all the important topics about time calculations. It is especially suitable for children and the body of the clock is made of impact-resistant plastic, so it is particularly sturdy.

Instead of a conventional clock face, this clock has 12 square recesses to accommodate the 12 removable wooden cubes. These can be used to customise the clock, depending on current learning requirements.
To begin with, children can learn to tell the time with the numbers 1-12. Later, the clock face can easily be switched to a 24-hour cycle, 5-minute divisions or Roman numerals using the cubes.

The wooden cubes also have 2 blank sides that can be customised using the enclosed sticker sheets. So the cubes and the clock can be used for all sorts of different purposes: to illustrate fractions, to assign quantities to numbers, to demonstrate the rhythm of day and night and thus the 24-hour cycle.

Removing and inserting the wooden dice encourages motor skills, and the arrangement of the dice in relation to the position of the hands teaches the connection between digital and analogue time.

The clock is fully functional and equipped with a high-quality and accurate quartz mechanism. The hands can be adjusted manually for teaching purposes without affecting the quartz movement.
A rotating base positions the "time hand" at an angle of around 40° for children to learn as they play. Thanks to the suspension hook, the "Zeit Zeiger" clock can also be used as a normal wall clock.
