"English" Basic Vocabulary Swatting Game, 154 pcs.

With this game, children train the recognition of the most important words of the English language in a playful manner, because speed is of the essence here. On 150 double-sided cards designed as flies, you will find the 300 most common words that the children have to "swat" quickly with their plastic swatters.

Depending on the level of knowledge, the teacher can make a corresponding card selection. Because the fastest player wins, children need to memorise the words instead of reading them letter by letter - this trains the pupils' vocabulary and recognition of the words. So when they read a text, they understand words more quickly and reading becomes more fluent.

Difficult words are marked so that the pupils know at a glance that these words are not pronounced the way they are written. The fly cards come in 5 different colours and refer to the UK Government Letters & Sounds Phonics Framework.

The pupil who swats the most cards wins.
