- Detailed product description
In our daily environment, we find objects that are geometric bodies everywhere. A jam jar is a cylinder and, as the name suggests, an ice-cream cone is a cone.
The link between the photographed objects, the photographed geometric bodies, and the 3D geometric solid objects themselves helps children develop the ability to identify and classify, both of which are fundamental for mathematical understanding.
The pouch provided allows children to understand what the different shapes feel like. As an added benefit, the game also expands children's vocabulary.
The instructions (which can be downloaded online) also contain copy templates with grids for the geometric shapes to colour in and cut out.
