Sensory trail set, 19 pieces

This perfect combination of interconnecting textured mats supports physical and cognitive development A sensory trail is an important way of promoting sensory awareness, including for children who do not always have easy access to nature.

In nature, children feel different soft and hard surfaces with their hands and feet while running, crawling and sliding around. This creates experiences that are crucial for their development.

These colourful sensory mats made of silicone and plastic in various degrees of hardness imitate the different surfaces found in nature: grass, pebbles, branches and shells, and allow a barefoot, sensory experience. The rounded nubs stroke, massage and stimulate reflex zones on the skin's surface. At the same time, children are encouraged to develop balance and coordination skills.

All of the module fit together like pieces of a puzzle and children can arrange them as they wish. Joining the elements together promotes fine motor skills and tactile awareness of the hands.
These durable, textured mats are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Easy to clean with water.
