TimeTEX Bead Material, complete set "Montessori Premium"

Once children have mastered the small number ranges up to 10 and 20, the next step is to move on to large number ranges. This bead material helps them to get started and explore large numbers.

In the Cabinet for Bead Material, children will find structures and working methods that they are already familiar with from the Short Chains and the Thousand Chain. This set now adds in the long chains with base numbers 1-9.

Children can work with the bead material at different levels of difficulty. Children's interest in working with these materials is awakened as soon as they have learnt the number range 1 to 10. The sequence and complexity of the work steps can be adapted to suit each child's stage of development.

This Complete Set of Bead Material is used for linear and stepwise counting of number quantities, as well as for calculating squares and cubes of numbers from 1 to 10. It prepares children for later activities in multiplication, root calculation and exponentiation, as well as for arithmetic in other number systems.

The Bead Material can be supplemented with the separately available accessories, the "Cabinet for the Bead Material", which offers space to store each item, and the "Arrows for the Bead Material", which can be used by children to label the chains, squares and cubes.
The colours of this bead material correspond to those of the other items, so these products can also be combined.
