Butterfly house "Eco", cardboard

This butterfly hotel offers our domestic butterflies a suitable refuge safe from rain, storms and wet weather. Filled with little twigs to give the butterflies a secure perch, they will find this a very welcoming home.

The butterfly house is made in Germany from untreated card and should be erected in a sheltered location close to a meadow. The environmentally friendly cardboard used originates from sustainable forestry.
The use of card has the benefit that there are no scruffy edges or splinters on which the animals could injure themselves.

With this butterfly hotel, you are making an active contribution to species conservation. By observing the beautiful butterflies, the children also deal with questions of species and environmental protection and are made aware of the need to treat insects and the natural world carefully.
