Chromatic Chimes, soprano c3 - a4, grey with mallet

This chromatic soprano glockenspiel has whole and semi-tones from c3 to a4.

The aluminium acoustic plates are painted grey. As the acoustic plates are struck with a wooden mallet, using the glockenspiel is easier for children´s hands than a piano or keyboard, and is a good transitional activity for these instruments.
As the black semitones are placed as in a piano keyboard, the instrument is well suited to teach children the basics of music theory .

The large sound box made of spruce gives the metallophone an especially full, beautiful sound. The 22 aluminium acoustic plates are fine tuned and have a clear, long lasting sound . They are labelled with the corresponding note, making use easier for beginners.
