The calculation chain has a firm place as a mathematics resource in primary school maths lessons.

Pupils love working with them and can use them to perform almost all arithmetic tasks independently or in partner/group work. They can also check their own work at the end.

The extra-large beads are easier for little mathematicians to use and feel pleasant to the touch.

The counting chain consists of 20 beads made from sustainable and environmentally friendly RE-Wood® on a tear-resistant cord. The beads are divided into sets of five in red/blue colours.

The class set contains 24 blue/red calculation chains XL as well as one demo calculation chain with 20 beads in blue/red. The set comes in a stackable plastic box with lid and handle for easy transport and storage, and has room for 30 chains, so the class set can be expanded as needed.
