A fun way to acquire early mathematics skills! Children can use this set to understand the principle of a matrix, to sort according to characteristics, to count and assign quantities to the associated numbers.
The matrix will reappear later on in school in almost every area of mathematics. It offers a clear illustration of linear relationships, thereby facilitating calculation processes.
Choose a matrix board and the 25 associated picture cards by referring to the little symbol in the top left corner of each card. Look for cards with the same object in different quantities up to 10, compare them and lay them in the correct position on the matrix board.
If a child does not yet know any numbers, just start with the matrix boards that have the quantities indicated in dots.
