This sorting game is made using high-quality, robust cardboard and helps familiarise children with the history of mankind and developments in different eras.
Children can work together or individually to explore history, finding out about the 5 major eras: the Stone Age, Antiquity, Middle Ages, Modernity, and more recent events in contemporary history.

Each historical era contains 8 photo cards, which are divided into different areas: Inventions, Means of Transport, Art, Architecture, Home, Clothing Style, Professions and Economy/Basic Needs. These can be assigned to different epochs or areas depending on the desired level of difficulty.
The backs of the cards are in the same colours, so children can check for themselves whether they have assigned the cards correctly.

The youngest children can start with simple colour matching to discover the key features of a particular historic era. Older children can assign the photo cards to the correct area in the respective era.
There is also a large timeline made up of 3 puzzle pieces to help you. The level of difficulty can be increased even further by spinning the wheel to select a historical era and area, because here it is chance that decides which card has to be found and assigned.

A comprehensive handout is available for download. This provides a detailed description and explanation for each area in the different historical eras depicted on the photo cards. Several possible playing options are also described.
The set is supplied in a practical cardboard case.
