Finger Puppet "Isi the Woodlouse"

A fun way to engage with the topic of woodlice and their protection, for young and old alike! Children learn about woodlice and their needs through play.

The diversity of our planet's animal and plant species (biodiversity) is under threat. This is becoming increasingly visible in nature, in our own gardens and even in school settings. The threat to biodiversity posed by the consequences of climate change has now also become an important topic in the media.

So, it is more important than ever to teach children the best way to deal with and protect these little creatures. The Isi woodlouse puppet can help! This lovingly detailed puppet is ideal for role-playing and to explain the work of these industrious detritivores (decomposers). Encourage children to use the puppet as a toy for individual role-playing and educational games on the topic of woodlice.

In terms of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), this finger puppet can inspire children to engage actively in protecting woodlice and other detritivores and preserving their natural habitat.
