fischertechnik Robot technology add-on set: competition for secondary schools
Add-on set for the fischertechnik Robotics TXT 4.0 Base Set!
Professional introduction to data logging with the Robotics Add-on: IoT! When combined with the Robotics Base Set, the stationary sensor station enables the measurement of air temperature, humidity, air pressure, air quality and brightness. The sensor station can be programmed and controlled using the ROBO Pro Coding graphical programming software and the ROBOTICS TXT 4.0 controller and is ideal for teaching topics such as data logging, programming and the use of actuators and sensors.
The values measured are logged by connecting the TXT 4.0 controller to a cloud, where sensor data is stored and retrievable, allowing measurements to be stored, collected and displayed graphically. Via the user interface (the so-called "dashboard") the various sensor data can be permanently monitored, and the camera (which can be tilted along two axes) can be remotely controlled.
With the extensive teaching materials, the set is ideal for use in the classroom. The time required for the task sheets is 45 to 90 minutes. Suitable for group work with 2 to 4 students. The set can be used to build 1 model and perform 6 exciting experiments.
Accompanying teaching material:
The fischertechnik class sets include extensive, freely accessible teaching materials. These have been developed in conjunction with teacher training institutions, teachers and educationalists, and are ideal for teaching requirements. In addition to an introduction to the topic, lesson plans with task sheets and educational plan references are available.
The Topic Introduction provides ideal content for lesson preparation and can be integrated into lessons. The topics covered include definitions, history, basic knowledge and much more besides.
The teaching materials include an overview of the learning objectives, the time required for each task, and the respective curriculum references for individual federal states in Germany.
To go with each topic from the curriculum, various tasks are included, each featuring different experiments.
These tasks are subdivided into a construction task, thematic task and experimentation task. This is how you progress from building, to learning technical content, to applying the knowledge you've gained.
