fischertechnik set MINT/STEM static engineering for secondary schools

Demonstrate the principles of static engineering for clear, long-term understanding.

Why is a triangle so important in the world of statics? And where do we encounter this everywhere in everyday life? These and other static engineering principles can be explored and easily understood with the fischertechnik STEM Statics kit based on practical example models. The topics addressed include compressive and tensile forces, and forces in equilibrium for stationary bodies.
The results of the practical experiments can be measured and checked with the help of the spring balance included. Students will have fun exploring and absorbing physical principles that apply to the way they think and work, while consolidating what they have learned to ensure long-term understanding.

The set can be used to build 10 models and perform 28 experiments. The time required for the task sheets is 45 to 90 minutes. Suitable for group work with 2 to 4 students.

Accompanying teaching material:

The fischertechnik class sets include extensive, freely accessible teaching materials. These have been developed in conjunction with teacher training institutions, teachers and educationalists, and are ideal for teaching requirements. In addition to an introduction to the topic, lesson plans with task sheets and educational plan references are available.

The Topic Introduction provides ideal content for lesson preparation and can be integrated into lessons. The topics covered include definitions, history, basic knowledge and much more besides.

The teaching materials include an overview of the learning objectives, the time required for each task, and the respective curriculum references for individual federal states in Germany.

To go with each topic from the curriculum, various tasks are included, each featuring different experiments.
These tasks are subdivided into a construction task, thematic task and experimentation task. This is how you progress from building, to learning technical content, to applying the knowledge you've gained.
