Hand Washing Light Timer

Proper hand washing is very important. It is the only way to eliminate all germs, bacteria and viruses. The Federal Centre for Health Education (BzgA) recommends a 20-30 second period for soaping the hands. The hand washing light timer helps children keep to this recommendation.

When the hand washing light timer is started, it runs for 20 seconds. During this time, the large LED flashes red. When the time is up the LED flashes green.

The light timer can also be used for brushing teeth, applying the same principle as for washing hands, only with a countdown time of120 seconds . After 60 seconds, the LED flashes to show that half of the time is up.

Both predefined times are selected using the corresponding button (hand or tooth). The hand washing light timer can also be mounted on the wall using the bracket supplied (adhesive or drilled).
