These musical instruments are well-suited to introducing pupils to some basic concepts of music in a vivid manner: rhythm, harmony and melody. With the tuned plastic pipes, the children can experience rhythms, harmonies and melodies, make their own and play make music according to colours. With a little practice, they can even reenact whole pieces or play in a group.

The boomwhackers unleash their great sound in interaction with each other and mix well with the sound of other instruments. This means the whole class can be involved in the creation of music, learn to listen to each other and to work as a team.

Since the boomwhackers can be used with the whole body - e.g. it can be hit on the thigh or the soles of the shoes, on the floor, tables or chairs etc. - it can be used to loosen up lessons and motivate pupils to exercise.
