Like with this little red, 9 cm long fish, which is also known as the fortune teller fish.

Take the fish out of the packaging and place it in the palm of your outstretched hand. The fish moves voluntarily with varying degrees of intensity, without you doing anything.

How does the fish work? Is it the warmth of your hand, or the moisture, or the light? Pupils can investigate these questions independently or as part of group work. This makes science fun!

As a cool party trick or during a lesson, the fish can divine the fortune of the other guests or participants. The fish's predictions can be interpreted based on the explanations given on the back of the packaging. A good way to get discussions started.
