TimeTEX Leaf Cards "Montessori Premium"

The Botany Cards correspond to the leaf shapes of the Botany Cabinet in three formats: thin outline, thick outline, solid shape.

At the age of 3 to 4, children begin to explore and discover nature for themselves. The child matches real leaves and the inserts to the cards and thus develops their visual discrimination skills.

This material stimulates the child's interest and work in the field of botany.

First, the leaf shapes are used to trace the shapes and to compare and match the leaf shapes to real leaves that have fallen off the plants. Next, the child uses these leaf cards to find the appropriate insert in the Botany Cabinet, and then begins to move from the concrete to the abstract.

Division of the Botany Cards
Three series of 18 cards corresponding to the leaf shapes of the Botany Cabinet:

• the first series has an illustration of the overall shape of all the individual leaf shapes
• the second series has a thick outline of each shape
• the third series has a thin outline of each shape

A storage box with 3 compartments is available especially for the Botany Cards. This can be ordered separately.
