Base Ten Blocks Demo Visualisation set 1 Million, magnetic, 7 pcs.

A million is an order of magnitude that children find difficult to imagine. Even the correct number of zeros in 1,000,000 can cause them difficulties.

So this magnetic visualisation set with 3D optics is perfect for understanding the million and is also a nice addition to our colourful Base Ten Blocks arithmetic sets.

Children grasp the fact that the relationship between the units cube, tens bars, hundreds cube and thousands cube can also be transferred to the thousands cube, tens of thousands cube, hundreds of thousands cube and millions cube.
As the unit cubes are always marked on each item, it is easier to understand how many unit cubes fit into each number.

The colours of the individual pieces are designed in the same way as our coloured Base Ten Blocks materials, so the different calculation aids for the large numbers can also be combined with each other.

Our decimal place value cards in particular go hand in hand with this visualisation set.

The smaller pieces are made from MAG-Pap°, the larger ones from a plastic film with magnetic strips. The material can be used on blackboards, whiteboards and all magnetic surfaces.

1 each of the units cube (yellow), tens bar (green), hundreds board (blue), thousands cube (red), ten-thousands bar (light green) made of Mag-Pap° and 1 each of the hundred-thousands board (light blue) and million cube (light grey) made of plastic film with magnetic strips.

MAG-Pap®
This product is made in Germany from sustainable, non-toxic MAG-Pap°. The surface consists of 1 mm thick cardboard made from 100% recycled materials with a printed sheet (abrasion-resistant paint and waterproof). The back is completely covered in 0.5 mm thick magnetic film. This makes MAG-Pap° ideal for use on traditional school blackboards, whiteboards and smartboards as well as presentation boards.
