- Detailed product description
With these decimal place value cards made of magnetic film, the numbers in the number range up to 9,999,999 can be learned and practised in the decimal system. They also let you perform lots of standard arithmetic operations and pupils will become adept at number transitions.
The same decimal places always have the same colour, which in turn corresponds to the colours in most of our materials for the decimal counting system and counting stick range. So items can be combined if needed.
The strong magnets stick to each other and to all magnetic surfaces such as blackboards, info boards etc. So these are ideal for demonstrations in front of the class. Pupils can work in groups or individually with our pupil set (#93719).
Dimensions: up to approx. 15 x 7.5 cm (thousands)
- for practising in the number range up to 9,999,999
- with strong magnets for blackboard demonstrations
- same colour for the same decimal values
The cards for ten thousand to one million are placed in front of the thousands separator but can also be placed on top of each other. This keeps the cards handy and the magnetic effect is strong enough for the board.
