With this easy-to-use microscope, children can observe plants, insects and other treasures they've collected at a high magnification. They also learn the basics about how a microscope works and are given a fun insight into optical phenomena.
The glass lens can be inserted into the sturdy beech wood stand at 8 different heights, resulting in different magnification levels. The sample can even be measured using the enclosed paper slides, which are printed with a measuring scale in 5 mm increments. 2 metal clamps hold the slide firmly in the correct position.
To observe translucent objects such as insect wings, petals or liquids, just use a transparent film as a microscope slide. The sample can then be illuminated with a torch through the practical hole in the base.
