Food Pyramid, 28 pcs.

Make learning fun! A fun way to learn about a healthy diet and different foods – with the food pyramid.

Which foods are healthy, and which are rather unhealthy? What quantities should you eat of the different foods? And what is the difference between proteins and fats?

With the help of this beautifully illustrated food pyramid, children can have fun learning what groups foods can be divided into and which foods belong to a balanced diet. The pyramid is subdivided into different areas for proteins, fats, dairy products, cereals, fruit and vegetables. Different foods are printed on round counters, for example different kinds of vegetables and meat products.

Discuss the topic of nutrition together at circle time or in smaller groups and ask children to allocate the different food cards to the appropriate areas. As a complementary product, there is a healthy eating set of blackboard magnets (product no. 81296) which children can use to create a healthy eating plan.
