Picture Box "Find the Ending"

Recount picture stories with an open ending
How could the stories continue? Seven imaginative stories and seven stories from everyday life are told up until their climax. The ending is left open, the children should find it for themselves.

This boosts vocabulary, storytelling abilities, free speech and logical thought, but also imagination, development of ideas and a delight in making things up. Because there is never just a single correct solution but lots of different options for how the stories could be continued or finished. By skilful questioning, the child can be supported to find the ending.

Suggested questions can be found after the content description for each story. Interesting discussions will take place, if children compare the different ways they chose to continue the story.

Contents: 14 coloured picture stories, each with 4 to 6 individual cards and 3 symbol cards with identification figures for continuation (a total of 75 picture cards in a sturdy cardboard box).
