Teaching DVD "The wonderful world of butterflies", tablet compatible

Butterflies come in lots of shapes and colours. Some, like the marbled white, are fairly discreet in colour. Others are brightly coloured, such as the monarch butterfly. Or the Old World swallowtail. Some are even transparent! Some have very unusual wing shapes. And others look almost identical to a leaf.

This film describes the characteristics and development of the butterfly and contains impressive footage of these colourful animals in their natural environment. Show children images they would otherwise never see: e.g. how a caterpillar hatches out, how it subsequently pupates or how a butterfly emerges and unfolds its wings. The accompanying worksheets and interactive blackboard pictures are designed for use in nurseries and primary schools.

This teaching DVD is an ideal companion for our butterfly breeding projects (product no. 80008).
