This set offers a fun way for children to acquire early maths skills.
The leaves are made of 100% recycled plastic with a pleasant feel and are designed in 6 bright colours and 3 different sizes, which can be assigned to different activity cards. This trains colour and shape comprehension, while also introducing the topics of nature and the environment.

On the surface of the leaves you can feel the raised veins and each leaf features a different number of beetles to stimulate the sense of touch. The 10 large activity cards can be laid out in front of the children like an activity tray and then filled with the leaves depending on the task.

These tasks range from very simple to quite demanding. On the one hand, there is a card on which you sort leaves by shape into wheelbarrows, on the other hand, an autumn tree illustrates subtraction as it drops its leaves. This is also a very simple way to teach children about combinations, for example where a row of leaves on a card has to be completed with the correct options in terms of shape and colour.
