- Detailed product description
With this comprehensive experiment kit, children aged 7-12 can create their own little earth and have fun while exploring the foundations of life.
First, the children shape a ball out of earth and grass seeds, then they add snowy-white poles made out of plaster and blue seas with paint. The planet is then placed in the greenhouse sphere and the first grasses sprout after just a few days. The children experience what the greenhouse effect is and how the atmosphere works.
Small houses, mountains and trees are cut out of the template sheet provided and positioned on the planet. On the one hand this serves as decoration, but it also helps with experimentation later on.
Full-colour illustrated instructions take you step by step through the set-up and experiments and provide age-appropriate background information. Using exciting experiments, the children learn about the processes behind day and night, the seasons and climate zones. Fundamental questions such as "What are the poles good for?" and "How is life actually created?" are also answered here.
