Programming involves telling the computer to work in the way the user wants it to. In reality, this process is often extremely complex. This game, on the other hand, is a child-friendly way to explain the principles of programming. All without a computer, but still very clear and great fun too!

Children work out a programme code in their group in order to reach the destination together via the different squares. This strengthens their sense of community and team spirit!

The square mats contained in the set are laid out on the ground in a kind of maze. The aim is to reach the mat with the robot symbol with the help of cleverly thought-out instructions. The instructions are on so-called programming cards. These are arranged in sequence and specify the order in which the maze should be crossed.

Of course, programming errors may also occur in the game. The game should encourage children to troubleshoot any errors together and look for a solution. The level of difficulty can be freely adjusted depending on the number of mats used.

Encourage the children to come up with different programming codes. The accompanying playing instructions can be used for inspiration here, as they include a few example codes.
