Fascinating gyro tricks with cool lighting and an "Aha effect"

The design and function of the kinetic wheel are very simple: two circular tracks are attached to a handle, and a spinning top attaches to these through a magnetic axis. Now you can get started. The spinning top can be set into motion along the circular tracks through little movements of the wrist. It rolls along the track and starts rotating faster. At the same time, the light show begins that depends on the speed of rotation. A fantastic effect particularly in the dark.

Once you find the right rhythm, you can get the disc spinning faster and faster. You can even put it down on the floor, let it dance and pick it up again.

There is a whole load of physics behind this to enable the playing, the Aha effect and the fascinating gyro tricks with the kinetic wheel: rotation movements, resonance phenomena, energy transformations (kinetic energy, rotation energy ...), friction, magnetism.
