TimeTEX Geometric Objects "Montessori Premium"

This set allows children to discover the geometric objects sphere, cube and cone. To prepare for geometry, trains the stereognostic senses and word lessons such as round, pointed, etc. The bases included are used for matching exercises.

Method - didactic information
The geometric shapes are placed in a basket and covered with a cloth. The teacher takes out the sphere, rolls it and says the name to the child, "That is a sphere." Start working with the cube and the cylinder and then add in the other objects later. For reinforcement, the child is asked to find the sphere in the basket. "Give me...!" and in the third step, the teacher points to an object and asks, "What is that?" The exercises can be repeated with closed eyes.

The objects are sorted by their properties, which objects can roll, tilt or both? The corners, edges, surfaces are counted. The objects are placed on the base boards and compared.

Items from the area with the same shape should then be found - ball, globe, orange, football, etc.

In school, the properties are analysed and arranged. The objects are replicated.
