Wild bee house "Eco", cardboard

This wild bee hotel offers our native wild bees a suitable nesting place and refuge. Filled with a honeycomb card and wood shavings, the bees will find this a welcoming home. Since wild bees do not pose a stinging danger, the hotel is also suitable for observing these animals in nurseries, pre-schools and primary schools.

The bee house is made in Germany from laminated untreated card and can even withstand the odd rain shower. However, it should be installed in a sheltered location to make sure it can enjoy a long service life. The environmentally friendly cardboard used originates from sustainable forestry.

The use of card has the benefit that there are no scruffy edges or splinters on which the animals could injure themselves.

With this wild bee hotel, you are making an active contribution to species conservation. By observing these industrious little animals, the children also deal with questions of species and environmental protection and are made aware of the need to treat bees and the natural world carefully.
