Educational Children's Book, "Die Biene Meli", 44 pages

The lovingly illustrated pages teach even very young children about honey bees and wild bees in a fascinating way. Little bee Meli learns from her big sisters about how bees live together in a hive, which jobs she will have to do, what the next growth stage involves, how bees protect themselves against danger, how her wild bee cousins live and the dangers existing to them.

Towards the end of the book there are big illustrated pages with a variety of wasps, bees, bumblebees, wild bees, in order to differentiate them. 

The teaching materials contain lots of valuable ideas for environmentally friendly, climate-aware behaviour and to educate children about sustainable development. These ideas are flagged with the "We are protecting our earth symbol" and can be quickly identified. A worksheet on saving the environment and Earth´s climate provides data for a range of small projects on bee, environmental and climate protection, which children can implement themselves to help out and effect change.
