The 18 square-shaped blocks show various children with a range of emotions, facial expressions and reactions that vary from happy and excited to fearful and angry.
The pictured emotions may be identified as a specific feeling or starting point for a conversation about potential emotions or feelings, for example the child being consoled while holding a teddy bear looks sad which could mean that they feel lonely or shy.

The wooden blocks feature pictures of children printed on one side. It's a great way of discussing children's feelings with them and teaching them how to recognise and understand the feelings of others. Ideal for helping children develop the language to express their feelings.

The wooden blocks are around 1.2 cm thick and so are a practical size for younger children to hold and can be placed flat or vertically.
