Faceted Lens Glasses

See the world through the eyes of a butterfly, ladybird or fly - these faceted lens glasses make this possible!

Insects, like butterflies for example, see the world through their faceted eyes. These consist of thousands of individual eyes, so-called facets. This gives you a completely different perception of your surroundings!

The image is compiled from lots of individual facets through these individual eyes. Compared to a human eye, faceted eyes have much poorer resolution, but they are capable of lateral vision.

A playful way to introduce children to different kinds of sensory perception! The faceted glasses duplicate each image seen into 30 smaller, clear individual images.

Use these plastic glasses in nursery school, in general studies or biology lessons, or with our butterfly breeding set (prod. no. 81098) and in forest schools. An exciting visual experience for young and old explorers!
