Joy, anger, curiosity, sorrow: why is the child making that face?
Powerful emotions are part of everyday life for children. Feelings have triggers and understanding these is an important foundation for being able to comprehend how other people think and behave.

The children can use the image materials supplied to recognise and understand the causes of fifteen different emotions. The cards serve as a conversation prompt.

There are 15 emotion cards, with four situation cards belonging to each. The complexity of the situation shown on the situation cards varies so that varying levels of freedom of discussion are provided.

The children are helped to identify, express and deal with their own feelings and those of other people in everyday life. As well as promoting linguistic skills, this also enhances social and emotional competence in kindergarten and pre-school children.

Contents: 15 coloured picture sets, each with 1 emotion card and 4 situation cards (a total of 75 picture cards made from sturdy cardboard)
