Whether in a child's bedroom, classroom or nursery group...the wild bee life cycle poster brightens up any room with its child-friendly yet detailed illustrations. Approximately 560 species of wild bee exist in Germany and they vary greatly in terms of appearance and living conditions. Some, such as the garden bumblebee, nest primarily in the soil while others, such as the red mason bee, nest in wall crevices or reeds. The images on the poster display the development of nesting wild bees in a tube or wall crevice.
Children can precisely observe the life cycle from egg to mature bee. Short, age-appropriate explanatory notes help children correctly understand and describe the stages shown.
The back of the poster contains a short explanatory text about the life cycle of wild bees plus two worksheets that can be photocopied.
The poster was developed and illustrated by us and printed in Germany.
