- Detailed product description
With these picture stories, children learn to correctly assign spatial terms. Words such as "in, on, under, over, in front of, behind, beside, between" must be used correctly. The children's imagination is encouraged at the same time.
Two prepositions are introduced in each of the 18 picture stories. Both prepositions occur twice in the story – once in the dative and once in the accusative, and each time in connection with a target sentence.
By asking about location using "where?" and direction using "where to?"/"about what?", children are led in dialogue to the target sentence for each card, and thus to the correct preposition.
Each story consists of four cards, in which the last two cards offer two different possibilities for how the action of the story can proceed.
Regardless of the preposition, picture stories can be used as stories with different outcomes.
