TimeTEX Box with Coloured Bead Stair and Tens Bars, individual Beads "Montessori Premium"

When the child is ready to take counting to the next level, the teacher introduces the Seguin Boards (sold separately) and this box of beads.
This box of beads is used to build up the numbers from 11 to 19 using the tens bars and the coloured bead stair.

This beech wood box with lid (birch plywood) has a narrow partition in the centre. One compartment contains 9 x golden tens bars and the other compartment contains a set of coloured bead stairs from 1 to 9.

This activity helps the child to associate quantities with the numbers 11 to 19. As soon as this association has been mastered, the child will also have a solid understanding of the sequence of the numbers.
