TimeTEX Addition Strip Board, in Wooden Frame "Montessori Premium"

Children learn addition with the Addition Strip Board.
The addition strips included in the set are used to practise the sequence of addition combinations 1-9. This also helps children memorise the addition tables.

The material consists of a work board with a wooden frame on which there are 12 x 18 squares, with the numbers 1-18 printed alongside. The strips used for the exercise are stored in a hardwood box. 9 strips are red and divided into squares, 9 strips are blue throughout. Both are printed with the numbers 1-9.

Information on didactic method:

The strips are laid out to the left (blue) and right (red) of the board in ascending order. The red line indicates the point at which the tens are crossed when calculating.
The red strips are subdivided by dashes. This means that when doing calculations that cross the tens, it is easy to see how the second summand breaks down into different parts.
The child chooses a blue and a red strip. These are placed one after the other in the first row. The result can be read in the header: "Six plus seven equals thirteen". The child can then choose, solve and write down tasks themselves.
