TimeTEX Box with Tens Bars and Unit Beads, individual Beads "Montessori Premium"

When the child is ready to take counting to the next level, the teacher introduces the "Seguin Boards" (sold separately) and this box of beads.
This box of beads is used to build up the numbers from 11 to 99 using the tens bars and unit beads.

This beech wood box with lid (birch plywood) has a narrow partition in the centre. One compartment contains 9 x golden ten bars and the other compartment contains a small wooden stand with 9 golden units beads.

This activity helps the child to associate quantities with the numbers 11 to 99. As soon as this association has been mastered, the child will also have a solid understanding of the sequence of the numbers.

Learning opportunities:

• match and associate numbers 11-99
• understand the sequence of numbers
• assign quantities to the numbers 11-99
