TimeTEX Pythagoras Board, German "Montessori Premium"

Amazingly, the Pythagorean theory (a² + b² = c²), which some children and adults know, was developed centuries before the birth of Pythagoras of Samos, a Greek philosopher, mathematician and astronomer. He also founded the Brotherhood of Pythagoreans, which, although religious in nature, formulated principles that influenced the thinking of later eminent mathematicians. This is why the Pythagorean board takes its name from him, as it basically represents the multiplication tables in visual form.

To use the Pythagoras Board, the child chooses a wooden number tile, thinks of a multiplication equation that gives this answer and then places the tile in the correct position on the board with the printed squares. By being able to focus on the process rather than simply finding the correct answer, the child automatically absorbs the multiplication tables without even realizing it.
