TimeTEX Globe of the World Parts "Montessori Premium"

This is the second globe presented to the children. They then use the puzzle map of the continents. Children as young as 3.5 years old who are introduced to this stereognostic globe notice that each continent has a different color. These colors trigger memory associations that are used throughout the Montessori curriculum.

A special Globe with the Continents is used in the group or classroom. All seven continents are depicted on this globe, each of which has a specific color to encourage memory by association.
These colors are retained in the Montessori curriculum.

• North America - orange
• South America - pink
• Europe - red
• Africa - green
• Asia - yellow
• Oceania / Australasia - brown
• Arctic / Antarctica - white

Working with the Globe of the Continents leads to the introduction of the Puzzle Map of the Continents.
The wooden base of the globe holds it at an angle of 23°, the same as the earth's axis in relation to the sun. The height of the globe is 19 cm.
