Colour-Changing Lizard, 12x5 cm

With this stretchy lizard, children discover the secret of thermochromism. If it is exposed to a heat source, it changes colour and the effect is visible immediately. After a short time, the lizard cools down and returns to its original colour.

Children can have fun carrying out a wide variety of experiments. You can immerse the lizard in glasses of water at different temperatures and observe the effects. Or they can heat the lizard only in certain places and conjure up creative patterns.

The soft lizard is made of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPR/TPE). The temperature-sensitive silicone is free from plasticisers and, unlike rubber, is easy to recycle or reuse.
