TimeTEX Large Bead Frame "Montessori Premium"

With the Large Bead Frame, even beginners are able to calculate with numbers in the millions. The Large Bead Frame can be used for addition, subtraction and multiplication.

Learning opportunities:

• practise additions, plus problems up to a result of 9,000,000
• learn subtractions, minus tasks within 9,000,000
• understand multiplications, drawing problems on the arithmetic frame up to 9,000,000
• explain hierarchy of numbers simply using the typical Montessori hierarchy colors

Methodological and pedagogical tips:
Each row is assigned a specific place value and a color. 1st row = 1s (green), 2nd row = 10s (blue), 3rd row = 100s (red), 4th row = 1,000s (green), 5th row = 10,000s (blue), 6th row = 100,000s (red) and 7th row = 1,000,000 (green).

The corresponding digit values are noted on the side to provide support and an overview. By moving the beads in the respective place value range, even an addition problem such as 266,325 + 1,524,114 can be solved without further aids and without any problems for beginners.

Thanks to the typical Montessori hierarchy colors, this material can also be combined, e.g. with the Stamp Game, the Golden Bead Material and the number cards.

The frame has a slight slope so that it is easy to see and use when standing in front of the child. Even if it is laid flat on the table in front of the children, the slight slope provides an optimal overview. In addition, the view of the teacher is not restricted!

The Large Bead Frame is also made of solid beech wood. The colored wooden beads make it easier for little beginners to handle and are pleasant to the touch.
