TimeTEX Geometric Demonstration Tray "Montessori Premium"

This material can be used from the age of three and develops the sensory knowledge of geometry, which is deepened in the following years. It develops visual and tactile knowledge of geometric figures that can be consciously perceived in the environment. Sensory experimentation with straight lines and curves, together with the grasping exercise, is good preparation for writing.

The Geometric Demonstration Tray contains three insets with the simple plane figures: the circle, the equilateral triangle and the square. Each figure has a central knob and is placed in a square frame in a different color (the figure is blue and the frame is yellow).

The tray has space for up to 6 insets, but only contains three insets and three yellow boards. The figures and the yellow boards are in a removable light-colored wooden frame and the bottom of the drawer is covered with felt, which can also be removed.

This Geometric Demonstration Tray follows the work with the Geometric Solids and serves as preparation for the work with the Geometric Cabinet.
