TimeTEX Small Number Rods "Montessori Premium"

The Small Number Rods are used to practise basic addition and subtraction. They consist of 2 identical sets of red and blue square rods.

The Small Number Rods are designed so that children can work at a table or on a carpet to practise addition and subtraction after working with the Large Number Rods (sold separately). Children who work with this material are usually between 4 and 6 years old.

One set of number rods is the work set, while the other is the control set.
The addition tasks that the child can solve are less than 10, while the subtraction tasks have a minimum value that is not greater than 10.

The material consists of 2 sets, each containing 10 wooden rods, which are divided into unit steps by alternating colours (red and blue). Made from hardwood and finished with environmentally friendly paint, the bright colours of the blue and red segments are perfect for this type of activity.
Also included is a set of printed number tiles 1-10 made of hardwood.
