Wild Bee Additional Order (25 cocoons)

Look forward to observing the important work that wild bees do and become part of the Hagemann wild bee family.

Project schedule: we deliver the cocoons from January, starting in CW 3 up to the beginning of May according to the weather. You can order the Hagemann educational nesting block for the cocoons throughout the year.

When you receive the cocoons, remove them from the letterbox as soon as possible and store them in a cool place (e.g. unheated basement, garage). If you want to plan your project so that the wild bees do not hatch too soon, place the bee cocoons in their ventilated bee tub in a refrigerator at 2-4°C. If you take the wild bee cocoons out of the fridge and place them in the nesting block after their natural hatching period, they will typically hatch that same day or the following day. According to weather conditions, wild bee hatching can be delayed until beginning/mid-May at the latest by keeping them in the fridge.
