- Detailed product description
A versatile game for mathematical early development and for counting and practising all basic calculations in year 1.
Young children are always proud when they can count. They count the corresponding number of pegs and sort them in the tubes. Kindergarten children are playfully encouraged to count the pegs over and over again by "accidentally" adding an extra peg to one of the tubes and helping the child find the error.
Pre-schoolers and reception children can solve arithmetic tasks in a visual way: for example, by removing all pegs from the "5" tube and placing them in a row, then removing all pegs from the "3" tube and placing them alongside. Together, this adds up to 8 pegs. To self-check, the children can take out the pegs from the "8" tube and compare the numbers.
