Energy Bar, approx. 20 cm

A fascinating experiment that will amaze everyone! The principle of electrical conductivity can be explained in a way that is very clear and easy for children to understand using this energy bar.

This completely safe experiment on the topic of electricity is exciting and intriguing at the same time. Both ends of the bar can conduct electricity. As soon as you touch the ends with your hands, the colourful LED lights (green, blue, red) inside the bar come on and a loud beep is emitted.

But this also works across several hands: to demonstrate this, get all the children standing in a circle and holding hands. Now, when the first and last person in the circle each touches one end of the bar, it will light up. The electric circuit is complete! If two children let go of each other's hands, the lights will go out. The electric circuit has been broken again.

The energy bar is particularly impressive if you use it in the dark. Give the children free rein when experimenting and encourage them to find new ways of completing the electric circuit using the bar. Does a balloon conduct electricity? What about a potato? Just hold an object between your hands and find out the answer using the energy bar.

Practical, direct work with the model helps stimulate interest in the learning materials and reinforces the topics being communicated.

Instructions included in scope of delivery. You will get helpful information for educators and two exciting experiments that can be performed with the energy bar:

• Experiment 1: How is an electric circuit formed?
• Experiment 2: What conducts electricity?

Length of the bar: approx. 20 cm

• fascinating experiment on the topic of power
